Argyll Holiday Homes hands over home to Charity Children in Poverty Inverclyde. Fiona Kelly from Argyll Homes, Pat Burke,Seumus Lamb, Joe McAllister from the charity, Provost Moran and Sean McGowan from Morrisons with invited guests at the opening ceremony on 30 March.

Children in Poverty Inverclyde founder Pat Burke, Morrison's Greenock store manager Sean McGowan and Argyll Holidays Hunters Quay Holiday Village general manager David Dain cut the ribbon to the new holiday home.

Tough Mudder Challange for Charity

Louise Murphy (LMFitness) is putting a great deal of her own time into helping reduce poverty in Inverclyde.

Morrisons Greenock General Manager Sean McGowan presents a magnificent donation cheque of £35000 from the Morrisons Foundation that shall fund the purchase of a holiday home at Hunters Quay Holiday Village.

The Rotary Club of Gourock President Robert Wilson presents a donation cheque £500 to Trustee James Lamb, the proceeds from the Rotary Hark in the Park event. 2 September 2015

120 children from local nurseries were our guests at Santa's Grotto & Carnival at Cardwell Nurseries and had a wonderful time meeting Santa and on fun rides.  All received a present and we thank Cardwell Nurseries for arranging goodie bags. 4 December 2015

Trustee James Lamb receives a cheque for £551 from the Unite Pottery Street branch in Greenock

A real pleasure to attend Greenock Golf Club on Saturday evening to accept a cheque for £1500 that members & guests raised from the Club's 37th Tri-Am event.

The annual Gourock YAC U16s Boys v Old Crocks match raised the staggering total of £600. This was a superb effort by coaches, players & parents and our charity extends our gratitude and appreciation for such a wonderful donation.

Along with the Mariners Home and Erskine Hospital we were the recipients of £1500 from the Lodge's Annual Charity grants locally. A wonderful donation and very gratefully received and we commend Lodge Greenock Kilwinning XII on their extremely valuable support and caring  to local charities.

John McGovern of the Senit Foundation presents a cheque for £1000 to us which provided a trip to Santa's Grotto&Carnival at Cardwell GC for 80 local children where they met Santa and Olaf and had a great time on the fun rides and bouncy castle plus a goody bag from Cardwell GC. We applaud the Senit Foundation for their very generous donation and indeed commend them for their extensive and exemplary contribution to charitable organisations and deserving causes in Inverclyde'
Our charity received a donation of £313 from Louise Murphy of LM Fitness who organised sponsored events with her patrons. We are indebted to Louise for this wonderful donation and the generosity of LM Fitness patrons'
Jeanette Knox of Enterprise Childcare presents our charity with toys collected from various businesses at Pottery Street. A truly wonderful gesture by Jeanette in organising this collection which was appreciated by ourselves and those families in receipt of these gifts.

£500 from Lodge Greenock Kilwinning No.XII

We are presented with a cheque for £500 from Lodge Greenock Kilwinning No.XII after being selected by Provost Moran as the recipient of the Annual Provost charity nomination to the Lodge. We thank the Provost for selecting us as nominee and appreciate the generous donation from the Lodge and commend them on their continued great work for charities in Inverclyde.
Inverclyde Academy pupils Andrew Wilson, Cameron Yarr and Elliot Keogh with a £3000 cheque for Children in Poverty Inverclyde awarded for their superb presentation in the Wood Family Trust (Sir Ian Wood) Young Philanthropy Initiative (YPI).' Our charity trustees commend the boys for our nomination and their research, dedication and commitment in securing this most welcome funding. Thanks, Pat
'Our charity recognised those local businesses and organisations that have offered such dedicated and willing support in our inaugural year without whose support we would not have provided Santa trips for 200 children nor holidays for 38 children and 22 parents as well as funding for holidays for over 100 children in summer 2015.
