Greenock Golf Club and their contributions to local charities
Written by Pat BurkeA real pleasure to attend Greenock Golf Club on Saturday evening to accept a cheque for £1500 that members & guests raised from the Club's 37th Tri-Am event.
A remarkable donation and we commend the Greenock Golf Club for their wonderful work for local charities with nearly £115000 distributed over the years. Thanks to Club Captain Peter Gallagher for warm welcome & hospitality and to Iain White for our nomination.
A great deal of preparation & organisation was evident for this event and we are grateful to the committee and members for their participation and very generous contribution. This donation will be put towards the purchase of our own Childrens Holiday Home at Hunters Quay Holiday Village.'
