Thank you once again for the opportunity

Written by

Just a little email to let you know that the families that were away to Hunters Quay on 13 October have expressed how much they enjoyed their time away stating that they had never seen the children so happy. Thank you once again for the opportunity to be involved in such a worthwhile cause, it is truly fantastic.
- K. A. Childrens Nursery, Greenock, 23 October 2014

‘Please accept our sincere appreciation for the various lots of clothing and books donated to us. The clothing is of enormous benefit and already has been distributed to those children in most need. Myself, staff and parents are indebted to  your charity for such thoughtfulness’.
- M.G. Childrens Centre Head, Greenock

‘The response from both families was fantastic. Both felt the accommodation was first class and exceptionally clean. The starter packs were more than that, very handy and appreciated. The facilities were excellent and the staff very helpful. The site was close to the town which allowed for some lovely walks. Both parents have asked me to thank you and your team personally as they had a great time and could not have asked for more from the beginning to end of the process for the holiday.‘
- M.K., Childrens Centre, Greenock

‘Families enjoyed a wonderful week on holiday.Facilities were great and all children loved using the recreational activities available. Parents also relaxed and grateful to your charity for providing such an opportunity for their children.’
- L.C.,  Social Worker, Port Glasgow.

‘Thank you for your very welcome donations. This will help the mothers and their babies so much.Times are bad for many people, some worse than others. Thank you for caring.’
- Sadie Stanton, Society of the Innocents

‘Thank you for the donation of children’s woollen clothing including gloves, hats and jumpers which are greatly needed at this time. They will be distributed to needy children.’
- Lesley Anderson, Salvation Army Greenock

The link between activities and purpose is simply that no child in our community must feel marginalised because of the impact of poverty. Children from poor families will, as a consequence of our organisation's purpose and activities, feel valued and be empowered to participate - on an equal footing - with their more affluent peers, in all opportunities available to Inverclyde's children. This website will help educate and promote Children in Poverty Inverclyde.
